Manchester United vs Swansea City highlights (1-2)

Manchester United saw their FA Cup campaign come to an end rather early as this weekend they suffered a disappointing home defeat over fellow Premier League side, Swansea City. Eager to redeem their disappointing league result last new year, Man United were actually pushing for maximum result this Sunday, but instead of taking hold of things early on, they found themselves trailing when Wayne Routledge scored for the visitor after just 12 minutes of play.

Man United obviously wasn't keen on giving things up easily as they pounced forward in search for an equalizing goal which arrived not long after Swansea's opener as Javier Hernandez leveled things up on 16 minutes. After the break, both teams continue to push forward in search for that elusive winning goal and it was the away side that eventually came away with maximum result as right on the 90 minutes mark they scored through Wilfried Bony, which turned out to be the winning goal. Things were not going well indeed for United on that encounter as just before Bony scored, David Moyes' side were forced to play with 10 men on 80 minutes.
