Manchester City got their first possible title for this season after they grabbed their hands on the Capital One Cup trophy by defeating Sunderland on Sunday's final tie. It was not an easy battle for Man City as they found themselves trailing by a goal during the first 45 minutes when Fabio Borini putting the Black Cats in front after only 10 minutes of play. Despite their attempt in getting an immediate equalizer, there were no more goals scored during that first period.
Man City's luck eventually turned though after the break as they got themselves back on level terms through Yaya Toure's beautiful's long range effort. Manuel Pellegrini's men getting really pumped up after that equalizer as they pounce forward vigorously and eventually doubling their advantage from another excellent finish, this time by Samir Nasri on 56 minutes. Spanish international winger, Jesus Navas, sealed the win for City with his goal on the 90th minutes.
