Manchester City temporarily getting themselves into the top seat of current English Premier League standings after successfully defeating bottom table dweller, Crystal Palace on Saturday. Playing in front of their home crowd with strong motivation after their midweek win over Liverpool, City looked hungry for victory as they push forward straight from kick off. It was not an easy task though for Manuel Pellegrini's men in breaking down their enemy as Palace themselves have been picking up positive results.
After the break, both teams continuing their attempt in hunting for goals, but it was eventually Man City that came away with all three points as they broke the dead lock thanks to an effort from Edin Dzeko. Despite both teams ambition in pushing forward for acquiring more goals, none of them managed to convert their goal scoring opportunities. It was an important three points indeed as that victory has brought City strong beliefs in their attempt to battle for league title this season.
