Juventus temporarily got themselves back into the top seat of Italian Serie A standings after grabbing an important away victory over Livorno this weekend. Eager to put pressure on their title rival, AS Roma, Juve immediately set themselves on an attacking mode, but their effort was not successful early on as their opponent put on such strong performance in the first 45 minutes.
After the break, Antonio Conte's men stepped up their attacking play and that attempt was fruitful as they finally break the dead lock with an effort from Fernando Llorente on 63 minutes. Soon afterwards, Carlos Tevez got his name in the score sheet and sealed all three points for Juve as they finished that tie with a 2-0 victory. That result lifted the Turin giant's position for a while as AS Roma won't be playing until next Monday.
