Manchester City keeping their run of good form going in Capital One Cup, as they bagged a comfortable away win over Leicester City on Tuesday, which took them into the semifinals stage of that competition. Playing away from home didn't give much hurdle for City to put on an attacking display on that midweek encounter as they went one goal up after just eight minutes of play through Aleksandar Kolarov's effort.
The away side kept on pushing forward in that first 45 minutes as they eventually managed to double their lead four minutes before half time break with an effort from Bosnian international striker, Edin Dzeko. Dzeko, who hasn't been getting much starting chance in recent matches, showcasing his sharpness in that game by completing his brace on 53 minutes. Leicester themselves only managed to pull one goal back from Lloyd Dyer, who got his name on the score sheet on 77 minutes.
