Highlights: Lazio maintain their Serie A title bid after picking up an important 3-0 victory over Udinese on Tuesday.
The Biancocelesti are eager to keep their distance with the top four teams above them and showed that intention with an attacking display against Francesco Guidolin's team. Lazio had the chance to take the lead after just 10 minutes when they earned a penalty kick, but unfortunately Christian Ledesma's effort was saved by Brkic.
However, few minutes after that miss, Vladimir Petkovic's med did get their goal as Alvaro Gonzales finished off Stefano Mauri's assist. In the half hour, Miroslav Klose doubled the home team's advantage with a fine finish inside the penalty area.
Lazio sealed their victory in the second half after Hernanes' excellent free kick found its way into the top corner of Udinese's goal. That win puts Petkovic's team sitting on fifth place with six points behind league leader, Juventus.
