Inter Milan inconsistent run of form still continue in the start of 2014 as Nerazzurri found themselves suffering a defeat against Lazio at Olimpico stadium on the rare Monday league fixture. Both teams were hungry for a victory, especially the home side as they haven't been picking up positive results in recent league matches.
The strong will in getting three points from those two sides, triggered a pretty tight encounter which resulted in a goalless first 45 minutes where neither of Inter or Lazio were able to snatch any goals. After the break, that intense atmosphere still lurking strong in that encounter as both sides still struggling to convert their chances, but with nine minutes left in the clock, Miroslav Klose finally broke the dead lock as his wonderful volley gave all three points for the Biancocelesti.
