Juventus keeping their lead at the top of Italian Serie A standings after defeating their close rival, AS Roma last weekend.
It was a tense game which turned into somewhat controversial especially after a penalty decision awarded for Juve which was converted by Carlos Tevez on 27 minutes.
Soon afterwards, it was Roma that earned a spot kick and it was also converted perfectly by Francesco Totti on 32 minutes.
The visitor managed to turn things around on 44 minutes when Juan Iturbe finishing off an assist from Gervinho.
However, just before half time break another controversy appeared when the Turin giant got their second penalty in that game which was once again converted by Tevez.
In the second half, both teams continue to push forward vigorously, but it was Juve that snatched all three points with an effort from leonardo Bonucci on 86 minutes
