Juventus continue to hold down their lead at the top of Italian Serie A standings after grabbing an important home victory over Inter Milan this past weekend. The home side looking really dominant since kick off as they immediately put Inter under huge pressure which eventually resulted in an opening goal on 16 minutes from Stephane Lichsteiner, which lasted until half time break.
The Turin giant extending their lead early in the second period, this time from an effort by Giorgio Chiellini, who took full advantage over a scrappy defending from Nerazzurri. Juventus eventually sealed their victory in that weekend tie with a close range finish from Arturo Vidal on 56 minutes. Inter themselves only able to pull one goal back through Rolando on 72 minutes, which was not enough in sparkling any potential late come back on that game.
