Italian Serie A defending champions, Juventus showcasing their strength this past weekend as they picked up an important home victory over fellow potential Scudetto contenders, Napoli at Juventuz stadium. Eager to keep pace with current league leader, AS Roma, both sides were pushing hard in search for maximum result, but the host looked to be much more prepared compared with their opponent.
The host already got themselves in front after just two minutes of play thanks to their summer signing, Fernando Llorente, who started to showcase his quality in Serie A. Napoli reacted pretty well as they created some problems for the home team, triggering a tight first 45 minutes.
Things finally opened up midway into the second half as Juve successfully doubled their lead through Andrea Pirlo's effort on 74 minutes, six minutes afterwards, Paul Pogba basically sealed all three points for his team with a third goal. The sending off for Angelo Ogbonna moments later didn't really have much effect on that match as Antonio Conte's men are already cruising to a three goals lead.
