Colombia confirmed their table topping position in Group C of World Cup 2014 after snatching all three points against Japan.
Already confirming their passage into the knock out stages of that tournament, Colombia still putting on an aggressive approach despite resting many of their starters.
The South American side got themselves in front on 17 minutes from Juan Cuadrado's spot kick, but that lead was canceled out just before half time break through Shinji Okazaki.
After the break, both teams were determined in pushing for goals, especially Japan but it was Colombia that regained their lead with a goal from Jackson Martinez on 55 minutes.
Martinez continue to cause problems for Japan's defense as he completed his brace with another fine effort on 82 minutes.
Colombia sealed their victory in that game with a lovely goal from their star midfielder, James Rodriguez, who continue to shine in this World Cup.
