Italian national side still can't seem to get a positive result on their recent friendly fixture after grabbing another draw this past Monday against African side, Nigeria. Not putting their best formation, Azzurri did made a positive start on that match with Giussepe Rossi opening the scoring after just 12 minutes after receiving an assist from Mario Balotelli.
However, Nigeria bounced back rapidly as they got back on level terms on 35 minutes through Dike and moments later, the African side turned things around thanks to a close range effort from Shola Ameobi on 39 minutes, which sealed the first half with a 2-1 lead for his team. Italy got their act together after the break and eventually leveled things through Emanuelle Giaccherini on 47 minutes. No more goals were scored from that moment on as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
