Italy national side still can't seem to get themselves back on winning ways after securing that spot to World Cup 2014 as they only picked up a draw on their latest friendly fixture against Germany on Wednesday. Staging the tie at San Siro stadium in Milan, Azzurri found themselves trailing when Mats Hummels puts his team in front after just eight minutes of play.
That early goal didn't shock the Italian that much though as they kept on surging forward in search for that elusive equalizing goal. After series of attempts, Cesare Prandelli's men finally got themselves back on level terms as Milan right back, Ignazio Abate netted his first Azzurri goal on 28 minutes. Both sides still continue their attacking approach after the break, but no more goals were scored as they must settle for a 1-1 draw.
