Aberdeen making their way into the top three seat of Scottish Premier League current standings as they bagged an important away victory over Inverness this past weekend. The away side were looking in a confident mood as they put on an attacking display since kick off, getting themselves ahead after 22 minutes from Barry Robson's spot kick. Robson continue to cause problems for the home team's defense as he completed his brace on 31 minutes, giving his team a commanding lead.
Things got even better for Aberdeen as they extended their advantage on 37 minutes from Peter Pawlett's effort and that game looked to be done and dusted when Niall McGinn bagged his team's fourth goal one minute before half time break. However, Inverness refused to bow down without any fight as they pour forward after the break and getting some positive response with Billy McKay grabbing two goals on 47 and 57 minutes, to lift some hope for the home side. Unfortunately, the host only able to add one more goal on 90 minutes from Graeme Shinnie's effort, which was not enough in stopping Aberdeen from taking all three points.
