Inter Milan Vs Cluj Highlights: The Italians Inter Milan overcame Cluj in their 1rst leg of the Europa League in which they played at the Giuseppe Meazza field and the home team came out triumphant thanks to 2 goals from the substitute Rodrigo Palacio.
The striker of Inter Milan, Diego Milito took a rather strange fall to the ground in the early minutes of the game which lead to his substitution and replaced by their recent signing Palacio.
A 20th minute deep pass from Guarin which rolled directly between the legs of a defender and arriving in the path of Rodrigo Palacio and the 31 years old forward lifted the ball over Cluj’s goalkeeper Mario Felgueiras and into his net.
Although Cluj was behind in the score-board they did have a great amount of time on the ball with more than enough possession to take their time and create goal-scoring chances but they lacked the finishing touch needed in order to actually put the ball past Inter’s Handanovic who had a fairly quiet match.
At the 87th minute Felgueiras delivered a superb pass over to Palacio who did not disappoint and scored the 2nd of the game. This result gives the Italians a comfortable 2 goals advantage as they have to play their next game in Romania.
