Fiorentina moving into the top seat of current Italian Serie A standings after defeating previous table topper, Inter Milan this past weekend.
It was a showdown of top two seats in Serie A where Nerazzurri play host to La Viola at San Siro.
Both teams were in a pretty confident mood ahead of that tie, but it was Fiorentina that got things going their way as they went ahead after just four minutes through Josip Ilicic's spot kick.
Another goal keeping error cost Inter as they conceded a second goal on 18 minutes from Nikola Kalinic's tap in.
Kalinic continue to give problems for Roberto Mancini's men as he grabbed his side's third on 23 minutes.
Things got tougher for Inter when they were forced to play with just 10 men with Miranda getting his marching order before half time.
Despite playing with 10 men, Nerazzurri did manage to pull one goal back through Mauro Icardi's close range finish on the hour mark.
However, on 76 minutes, La Viola regained their three goals margin after Kalinic completed his hat-trick, finishing off an assist from Ilicic.
