Inter Milan's push for that top four seat in Italian Serie A standings got halted again this weekend as they only picked up a point from their latest fixture against Cagliari. Staging their tie in front of their home crowd, Nerazzurri failed to make a bright start as it was their opponent that got in front through Mauricio Pinilla's spot kick five minutes from time.
The home team pushing forward vigorously in the second half in search for an equalizing goal and their attempts were eventually rewarded when Rolando made it 1-1 on 52 minutes, finishing off an assist from Mauro Icardi. No more goals were scored though after that as both teams were forced to settle for a pretty disappointing draw result.
