Huddersfield Town grabbed an important result on their latest England Championship league fixture this past weekend as they defeated fellow mid-table side Wigan Athletic. Eager to improve their current position in the table, Huddersfield immediately pushed forward vigorously since kick off, but similar approach was taken by Wigan which triggering such a tight encounter where both sides looked more capable in canceling each others instead of scoring.
The game continue to look very tight, but just when it seemingly heading for a draw, Adam Clayton's had other ideas as he scored the all important winning goal with only five minutes left in the clock, giving Huddersfield an important three points. Although that result still doesn't necessarily put the home challenging for play offs spot as just yet, but they're in a much better situation for the moment.
