Ecuador's World Cup 2014 campaign is still alive and well after they successfully defeated Honduras in Group E's second match this weekend.
The two teams suffered defeat on their previous matches and were determined to make things up this time around.
It was Honduras though that made the brighter start as they put themselves ahead on 31 minutes from Carlos Costly's finish.
That lead only lasted for a short while though as three minutes later Ecuador got back on level terms, thanks to an effort from Enner Valencia.
After the break, both teams continue to push forward in search for that winning goal and this time it was the South American side that grabbed it when Valencia completed his brace on 65 minutes.
