Hoffenheim grabbed an important victory on their latest German Bundesliga fixture as they defeated Eintracht Frankfurt this weekend.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Hoffenheim tried hard to take control of proceedings and search for the opening goal.
The home team finally got themselves in front when Kevin Volland scored just before half time break.
Frankfurt reacted positively though in the second half as they drew level through Stefan Aigner's finish on 58 minutes.
Hoffenheim regained control of the match again as they got in front one more time, with Adam Szalai scoring on 65 minutes.
The tie continue to look interesting with Frankfurt being able to got back on level terms once again with an effort from Haris Seferovic on 77 minutes.
However, it was the host that eventually come away with all three points when Roberto Firmino scored the winner three minutes before time.
