Schalke 04's ambition to reach the top four seat in current German Bundesliga standings was halted as this past weekend they were held into a draw by Hertha Berlin.
The home side made a bright start on that tie when they found themselves taking a one goal lead on 21 minutes through Anis Ben-Hatira's effort.
Schalke reacted well though after going down as they snatched an equalizing goal five minutes before half time with a lovely effort from Leroy Sane.
After the break, both sides kept on pondering forward in search for more goals and it was Hertha that regained their lead on 81 minutes through Genki Haraguchi.
However, the away side were able to draw level once again, this time thanks to an effort by Joel Matip, who scored right in the 90th minute mark.
