Atletico Madrid continuing their title challenge for this season's Spanish La Liga campaign after successfully grabbing an away victory over Granada this past midweek.
Playing away from home didn't stop Atletico from putting on a strong attacking performance as they were pushing forward right from the start. After a pretty tight affair, Atletico finally got themselves in front on 38 minutes through Diego Costa's spot kick which lasted until half time break as no more goals were scored during that period.
In the second half, Atletico didn't stop their aggressive approach as they eventually picked up their second on that match, with an effort from Spanish international striker, David Villa on 78 minutes. Granada were not keen on giving things up easily though as they battled hard in getting back into the match, but their efforts only managed to earn them a consolation goal which was scored by Odion Ighalo right on the 90th minute mark.
