Ghana 2-0 Cape Verde highlights: One of Africa Cup of Nations' favorite Ghana grabbed a place into the semifinals after beating Cape Verde on Saturday.
Playing in all whites, Ghana took the attacking initiative as they're searching for an early goal which could make things easier for them. However, they couldn't finished any of their chances and were forced to go into the break with a 0-0 score line.
Cape Verde tried to improve their performance after the break as they put a bit more pressure on their opponent, but things turned badly for Lucio Antunes' men when conceded a penalty which was converted perfectly by Mubarak Wakaso on 54 minutes.
That goal forced Antunes' team to push further forward in search of the equalizer and on the last minute, Ghana took full advantage of their opponent's over committed attempt by sealing the game with a second goal, which was once again scored by Wakaso, who broke free from a counter attack before coolly slotted the ball home.
