Following their weekend success in demolishing Arsenal, Liverpool are gearing up for another positive result this midweek as they travel to face struggling Fulham side at Craven Cottage. The Reds' are in such confident move after that weekend victory, but should still set their focus straight if they're keen on grabbing all three points on Wednesday, February 12.
Although things might be easy for Liverpool on paper, but Fulham can still provide potential trouble for Brendan Rodgers' men, especially since the Cottagers have just picked up a positive result against Manchester United at Old Trafford. That result, along with loyal home support could provide as an important additional factors that could help the home team from putting on strong performance on that midweek tie.
The Reds continue to get closer into this season's English Premier League title challenge as they grabbed another important victory on their midweek challenge, defeating Fulham in a tight encounter. Liverpool didn't start things off brightly as they conceded first through an own goal from Kolo Toure after only eight minutes of play. However, that lead was canceled out few minutes before half time break as an in form Daniel Sturridge on 41 minutes.
Fulham regained their lead midway into the second period through Kieran Richardson, who scored on 63 minutes. The Reds reacted well again as they're able to get back into that tie with an effort from Philippe Coutinho on 72 minutes, before Steven Gerrard turned things around with his late spot kick.
