Fulham finally ensuring their passage into the next stage of FA Cup battle after bagging a comfortable home win in the replay of their third round encounter against fellow Premire League side, Norwich City this past midweek. Drawing 1-1 in the initial scheduled contest, Cottagers tried to take advantage over their home court status as they immediately set off into an attacking mode in that Tuesday fixture. The home team's positive effort was rewarded pretty early as they already got in front after just 16 minutes of play through Darren Bent's effort.
That early strike gave even more confidence for Fulham as they kept on pushing forward and eventually doubling their lead on 41 minutes with an effort from Ashkan Dejagah. Already taking two goals lead in the first 45 minutes didn't stop the host to play their attacking football as they sealed the victory with a third goal, which was scored by Steve Sidwell on 68 minutes of play.
