Fulham finally ending their run of bad form after grabbing an important home victory over Aston Villa this past weekend, giving a much needed confidence boost for the Cottagers. The home side were pushing hard in search for three points as they eventually got themselves in front through Steve Sidwell on 21 minutes.
The host keep putting an attacking display as that positive approach eventually extending their lead through Dimitar Berbatov's spot kick on the half hour mark. Leading two goals up in the first 45 minutes, Fulham looked content in keeping things tight after the break as they are not keen on losing out that precious lead with such a strong need for three points. The home side did eventually managed to hold their 2-0 win as Villa failed to make any sort of response until the final whistle was blown.
