Germany wrote another positive record on their World Cup participation after being the first side that got into semifinals for the last four campaigns as they defeated France this Friday.
Both European teams are really determined in getting themselves into that final four stage as they put on an aggressive effort since kick off.
Germany had a brighter start though when they find themselves taking a 1-0 lead after only 12 minutes through Mats Hummels' header.
Les Blues tried to react after going down, but they could create much during the first 45 minutes as that slender lead lasted until the break.
In the second half, France immediately took an attacking initiative but they found Germany's solid defense were difficult to break.
Not to mention an excellent display from Manuel Neuer who made several excellent saves in that game.
Eventually, no more goals were scored in that second half as Germany holding on to their slender lead until the final whistle was blown.
