Fiorentina continue their push for top three finish in current Italian Serie A season as they bagged an important home victory over Bologna this past weekend. Playing in front of their home crowd, La Viola immediately setting on an aggressive mode as they got themselves in front on 13 minutes through Josip IIicic's effort. The home side doubling their lead right in the half hour mark with a fine finish from Borja Valero who finished off an assist by Giuseppe Rossi.
After the break, Fiorentina still take control of proceedings as they managed to add one more goal from Rossi on 64 minutes, sealing off a comfortable victory at home. That win temporarily putting them sitting at fourth place in the standings with 30 points from 16 matches, a pretty good situation which they will try to improve until the final part of this season.
