Bordeaux finally grabbed their first win on the new French Ligue 1 season as they defeated Nantes this past weekend.
Failing to register any victories in their previous three matches, Bordeaux were keen on overcoming their opponent as they play at home.
The host were able to get themselves in front just before half time break through an effort from Wahbi Khazri.
After the break, both teams kept on pushing forward in search for more goals, but it was the home side that eventually netted their second when Milan Gajic finished off Diego Rolan's assist three minutes from time.
