Everton's push for that top four place in English Premier League standings continue to get tougher after last weekend they suffered a disappointing defeat against one of their rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. In order to regain their chase for that final Champions League spot, The Toffees must pick up maximum points on their midweek battle against struggling, Crystal Palace side at Goodison Park. Roberto Martinez won't be keen on seeing his players suffering from another disappointment as that could really jeopardize their ambition in competing for that top four position.
However, Palace themselves are also in need of points as they're still far from being save from relegation trouble, despite currently sitting on 14th place in the table. With such tight competition for points on that bottom side of standings, any negative result could very well dropped the Eagles' back into that bottom tree seat, that's why they will give their best in snatching any positive points from that difficult battle, set for this Wednesday, February 12.
