Everton making their way into the next stage of FA Cup after successfully taking out fellow Premier League sides, Swansea City in the fifth round battle this past weekend. Staging the tie at their home ground, The Toffees were looking really determined in pleasing their fans and that positive attitude was immediately rewarded when they got in front within five minutes of play through Lacina Traore. That lead didn't last long though as Swansea got back on level terms with an effort from Jonathan De Guzman on 16 minutes.
The home side regained their composure and got ahead again midway into the second period with a goal coming from Steven Naismith on 65 minutes. Soon afterwards Everton eventually sealed their passage into the next round of that competition through Leighton Baines' effort on 72 minutes. It was a positive result indeed for Roberto Martinez's men as they continue to show such strong consistency this season.
