Man City eventually turned things around as Edin Dzeko scored his team's second three minutes before half time break.
The away team continue to put on an aggressive display as they extended their advantage with another goal coming from Dzeko on 48 minutes.
Everton refused to give up easily though as they managed to pull one more goal back from Romelu Lukaku on 65 minutes.
