Gonzalo Higuain netted the equalizer in the 2nd half but it just wasn’t enough for them if they wanted to somehow manage and stop Barcelona from snatching the title away.
C.Ronaldo entered the pitch later on but he made little to no impact as the result remained the same until the very end.
With this final result Barcelona are now the champions of this season in La Liga, despite the disappointing performance and season from Real Madrid they can still grab the Kings Cup in Friday when they go against their rivals Athletic Madrid.
