Eintracht Frankfurt picked up a massive home win this weekend as they trashed their opponent, FC Koln at Commerzbank-Arena.
Frankfurt put on an aggressive effort from the start and it was well rewarded as they close the first 45 minutes taking a comfortable 4-1 lead.
Those four goals were equally shared by Alexander Meier and Luc Castaignos, who each netted two. Koln themselves only able to pull one back from Anthony Modeste's effort.
In the second period, Frankfurt remain dominant as they kept on proving forward and added two more goals through Haris Seferovic and another effort from Meier, who got himself a hat-trick that day.
One more consolation goal from the visitor was netted by Dominiqur Heintz on 81 minutes.
