Eintracht Frankfurt finishing their Europa League group stage campaign in a positive way after bagging an important three points against APOEL Nicosia. Already securing their place in the knock out stages of that competition, Frankfurt were still keen on grabbing maximum result as it will secure group winning status for the Bundesliga outfit.
After a goalless first 45 minutes in which both teams failing to convert any of their goal scoring opportunities, Frankfurt finally got themselves in front when Stephan Schrock on 67 minutes. The home side kept on pushing hard as they doubled their advantage with an effort from Constant Djakpa 10 minutes later. That win secured the Bundesliga status as group winner, which could give them an advantage for the next stages.
