England continuing their World Cup 2014 preparation by testing the strength of South American side, Ecuador this midweek and it was a precious test indeed for Roy Hodgson's men.
Staging the tie in neutral ground at Sun Life Stadium, Florida, both teams were very determined in getting positive result which could provide good morale boost ahead of their tip to Brazil.
The South American side got themselves into a bright start when they went one goal up after eight minutes through Enner Valencia's effort.
England reacted well though after going down as they pushed forward vigorously and earned an equalizing goal on 29 minutes from Wayne Rooney.
After the break, it was Hoddgson's boys who turned things around as they got in front with a goal from Rickie Lambert.
However, that lead eventually canceled out with an excellent goal from Michael Arroyo on 70 minutes. No more goals were scored afterwards as both teams were forced to end their game with only 10 men.
