Monaco keeping their French Ligue 1 title challenge alive and well as they bagged an important away victory against Guingamp this past weekend. Playing away from home didn't stop Monaco from putting on an aggressive display as they immediately earned a reward early in the game with Anthony Martinal netting home after just four minutes of play. The visitor keeping their attacking display on as they eventually doubling their lead with three minutes from time through Layvin Kurzawa.
Despite both teams' keeping their attacking effort going, none of those teams managed to snatch anymore goals, but that 2-0 victory was more than enough for Monaco in keeping their challenge for title in Ligue 1 standings. That victory put the visitor sitting on second place with 41 minutes, just two behind current league leader, Paris Saint-Germain.
