Dundee United grabbed an important result on their latest Scottish Premier League standings after securing a comfortable home victory over Patrick Thistle this weekend. The home side got themselves going very early as they went one goal up after just two minutes, thanks to an effort from Gary Mackay-Steven, giving his side a slender lead going into half time break.
Early in the second period, Patrick Thistle managed to get back on level terms from Aaron Muirhead's spot kick on 57 minutes. However, the host regained their composure and got back in front on 70 minutes trough Andrew Robertson. Mackay-Steven strike again seven minutes later, netting home his brace on that game, before Brian Graham sealed all three points with his effort five minutes from time.
