Dundee United 1-1 Dundee FC highlights: Dundee United were keen on grabbing maximum points when they play host to their rival Dundee FC on Sunday in the latest fixture of Scottish Premier League at the Tannadice Park.
The home team have been dominating this Derby in the last few years as Dundee last victory against their city rival arrived on 2004 and things didn't look bright for the visitor when they were forced to play with only 10-men after the dismissal of Gary Irvine on 21 minutes. However, United couldn't take advantage over that situation as the first half ended in a rather disappointing 0-0 draw as both sides regroup themselves going into the dressing room.
In the second half, United tried to continue their domination, but it was their rival that managed to sensationally open the scoring through Ryan Conroy's fine finish inside the penalty area. Unfortunately, Dundee's attempt in winning this tie vanished within the last minute as the home team grabbed an equalizer from Michael Gardine's thumping effort in the box.
