Stevenage making their way into the next stage of FA Cup campaign this season as they bagged a hard fought victory over Doncaster Rovers this weekend. Both teams were having problems in breaking each others' defense in the first 45 minutes, but soon after the re-start it was Stevenage that got things going as they went one goal up after 49 minutes through Francois Zoko's effort.
Things continue to get better for the away side as they double their lead thanks to an effort from Peter Hartley, who scored on 65 minutes. However, Doncaster were not keen on getting beat up easily as they managed to pull one back on 72 minutes with an effort from Harry Forrester. In stoppage time, the away side were able to regain their two goals advantage with an effort from Darius Charles and although Doncaster did grab another goal minutes later from Liam Wakefield, it was not enough to rescue them from defeat in that battle.
