Crystal Palace FC 1-1 Huddersfield Town FC highlights: Crystal Palace attempt in getting closer into the current Championship leader fell short as they only managed to grab a point from their home clash against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The home side took the attacking initiative earlier on, but things suddenly went bad after they were force to play with only 10 men since the 11th minute. Things almost got worse when Huddersfield were rewarded a penalty, but fortunately Palace keeper, Julian Speroni was up for the task, saving Adam Clayton's shot brilliantly.
Despite their early problems, it was the host that got off the mark earlier with a stunning goal from their young talent, Wilfried Zaha just few minutes before the half time break. However, relentless pressure from the visiting team finally took its tool on Palace players as a goal keeping error eventually allowed Keith Southern to net the equalizing goal 15 minutes from time.
