Newcastle United keeping their European football ambition on course after successfully snatching an important away win against Crystal Palace on their latest English Premier League fixture this weekend. Traveling to Selhust Park didn't seem to give much concern for Alan Pardew's men as they still set themselves into an attacking mode right from the start, creating chances before eventually grabbing the opener on 25 minutes through Yohan Cabaye's strike.
The away side continue to put strong pressure on their opponents and eventually earned themselves a second goal, thanks to an own goal from Daniel Gabbidon on 39 minutes. Palace tried to get back into the math, but were simply lacking the efforts in doing so as it was Newcastle that eventually adding a third goal, which was netted by Hatem Ben Arfa from the spot kick four minutes from time.
