Playing away from home didn't stop Gunners from putting on an aggressive display, knowing that their opponent are not in a confident mood at the moment. However, Arsenal's tight schedule seemed to take the tool out of them for a bit, especially in the first 45 minutes where Arsene Wenger's men didn't snatch any single goals and were held into a goalless draw by Palace.
After the break, Gunners improved their attacking display and things opened up rapidly for them as they got in front straight from the re-start through Mikel Arteta's spot kick. Things got a bit more comfortable for Arsenal after that opener as they continue their domination, before eventually doubling their advantage three minutes from time with an effort by Olivier Giroud, who finished off Aaron Ramsey's assist.
