Lazio can't seem to forget their Champions League exit easily as they suffered a hammering on their second Serie A fixture from Chievo last weekend.
Keen on bouncing back after a painful exit from UEFA Champions League, Lazio tried to take the attacking initiative early on.
However, it was Chievo that got themselves ahead when Riccardo Meggiorini scored after 12 minutes of play.
That goal gave the home side more confidence as they continue to push forward and eventually netting their second on 30 minutes, this time from Alberto Paloschi.
Valter Birsa added a third goal just before half time break, giving his team a comfortable lead going into the break.
Lazio still keen on pushing forward in the second half, but it was Chievo that managed to score again as they netted a fourth goal, thanks to another effort by Paloschi.
