Chelsea are gearing themselves up for an exciting big match battle this Sunday, January 19 as they will be hosting their arch rivals in recent years, Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. Having been picking up positive results in recent matches, Jose Mourinho's men will be having strong confidence ahead of that weekend encounter. However, Mourinho should still ask his players not to get ahead of themselves as despite not sitting in top four seat as just yet, Man United remained a threat for any sides.
Meanwhile, Man United themselves arrived for the weekend tie also with a positive result after snatching their first victory in 2014 by defeating Swansea City last weekend. Obviously, that might not be enough in facing up against Chelsea, but at least David Moyes' men are flying to Stamford Bridge not carrying any negative mental effect. The Red Devils will try to give their all in snatching something positive in that game, to keep their top four finish target alive.
Eventually it was Chelsea that come away with all three points from that big match weekend as Jose Mourinho's men grabbed a pretty comfortable 3-1 victory over their rival. Cameroon international, Samuel Eto'o was the main man for that game as he bagged a hat-trick which directly assisted his side's success in overcoming David Moyes' side. Eto'o scored on 17, 45 and 49 minutes, while Man United themselves only managed to pull one goal back from Javier Hernandez on 78 minutes
