Celtic's ambition to close the gap at the top of current Scottish Premier League standings fell short as this past weekend they were held into a draw by Motherwell.
The home side immediately put on an aggressive approach in that weekend tie as they're keen on grabbing all three points at home.
However, things were far from easy for Celtic as instead of taking the lead, they found themselves trailing instead when John Sutton scored for Motherwell on 19 minutes.
The host tried hard to break down their opponent's defense and their relentless efforts were finally rewarded as Kris Commons converted from the spot kick on 68 minutes.
No more goals were scored though afterwards as both teams must settle for a 1-1 draw.
