AS Roma ended their slight hope for winning Italian Serie A this weekend as they picked up a shock away defeat from Catania on Sunday.
Playing earlier than their title rival, Juventus, Roma must grabbed all three points to keep a slight of hope of snatching something for at least a week.
However, lack of beliefs that Juventus will be dropping points seem to trouble the away side as they were stunned since early minutes.
Catania took control of that tie as they got in front after 26 minutes through Marian Izco's effort and soon afterwards, Izco strike again to make it 2-0.
Roma did manage to reduce the deficit before half time break when Francesco Totti scored on 37 minutes.
However, things turned into sour for Giallorossi after the break as Catania were able to regain their two goals margin with an effort from Gonzalo Bergessio on 56 minutes.
The home side continue to cause problems for Roma as they sealed their famous win on that day by scoring a fourth goal, which was netted by Pablo Barrientos on 79 minutes.
