Calcio Catania 3-1 Udinese Calcio highlights: Catania bounce back from their recent poor results as they picked up all three points in their latest Serie A encounter against Udinese last Saturday.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Catania started the first period in a commanding fashion as they set up several interesting attacking moves which resulted in goal scoring opportunities that they couldn't finish. The visitor didn't really do too much in that first period, but they managed to hold well forcing the first half to end in a 0-0 draw.
After the break, Catania didn't stop their aggressive attacking display and the immediately got their reward as Alejandro Gomez slotted home with a simple finish straight from the re-start. The attacking wave from Gli Elefanti continues as they added their second on 66 minute with another effort from Gomez, this time it's from a delicate header.
Catania wrapped up their three points on 70 minutes with a lovely free kick flighted by their dead ball specialist, Francesco Lodi, who continue to be dangerous from free kicks situation. Udinese got themselves a consolation goal though when their talented striker, Luis Muriel burst through the home team's defense before calmly slotting the ball home.
