Italian giant, AC Milan finally showcasing a little bit of consistency as after their Champions League victory in midweek, Rossoneri grabbed another three points, this time in Serie A against Catania. Milan were keen on taking home maximum points as they want to push up into a better position in current Italian Serie A standings.
Despite dominating possession since early minutes, Milan found themselves trailing when a swift counter attacking play from Catania led to a scrappy goal from Lucas Castro on 13 minutes. Fortunately, Milan didn't have to wait long in getting back into level terms as six minutes later, Riccardo Montolivo grabbed the equalizing goal after finishing a lovely cross from Urby Emanuelson.
Rossoneri pushing forward after the break and after missing several chances, Mario Balotelli finally turned things around for Milan after scoring a free kick effort. Tension got higher from that moment on, forcing Catania to play with only 10 men as Panagiotis Tachtsidis saw red. The away side took full advantage of that situation as they added another goal from their talisman, Kaka on 81 minutes.
