Lille picked up their first win in the new France Ligue 1 season after successfully snatching all three points during their away trip against Caen.
Only drawing their opening fixture, Lile were determined in grabbing all three points on their second league match despite playing away from home.
It was another tight encounter though as both sides failed to score any goals during the first 45 minutes.
After the break, nothing changed much but luck was hovering around Lille's side as they earned a controversial spot kick which was converted by Divock Origi.
No more goals were scored afterwards as the away team managed to hold their slender win until the final whistle was blown.
